It seems like I've always made art dolls, since long before anyone called them that. As a little kid I would make elves and flying horses out of yarn, twigs, whatever I could get my paws on. I was always experimenting with new media, and that eventually led me to polymer clay. Though I'm still trying new media, I love working with polymer clay. It's so responsive and expressive, it's as though I can see it taking on a personality as I work.

A few years ago, a friend suggested that I try selling on Etsy. I loved it, especially when buyers contacted me to say how much their daughter or brother or whoever they were buying it for liked their new Little Creature.

Life circumstances kept me from continuing with my Etsy shop. Now I'm back, ready to introduce more Little Creatures to the world! It's my belief that each Little Creature should be the best Puck, Elf, Gargoyle, or whatever it happens to be, that I can make, as though I'm crafting a gift for a dear friend.
